She sat on everyone's eggs...hence the * before "her".

We all know how Silkies are.

All of the babies have feathered feet, both of my roosters have feathered feet, but I'm pretty sure they are all my Silkies as my D'uccle rarely mounts anyone.
I'm going to post pictures of the father's and potential Mom's....who I believe to be the real Mom's anyway.
We have one purebred Silkie, she's adorable! You can see her sticking out of the front of Yeta's feathers in one of the pictures....

5 chicks for my hens first round as Mom, I think she did very well and she's still doing well.
She's amazing. I'm proud of her!

Quote:I got him from "the dark farm" A woman we used to know kept many animals in horrid conditions and wanted big money for them. I bought him and his brother, Scoops. They were 5 weeks old and were caked in filth. They had spent the first 5 weeks of their lives in a tiny cage in a pitch black shed.
While Gamma was young, he looked crazy and like he may have rolled in toxic waste. >_<
He's missing the extra toes on one foot. The woman said they "just fell off" as if by magic!

So we named him Gamma because of the gamma rays and stuff like that....it was my Mom's idea, just stuck. >_<
I think I've seen you post something about your Gamma before and I was going to say something to you, I just never did!

Thought I'd share his names story... [IMG]

Quote:>_< Everyone who has met Einy loves/likes her. Most everyone who comes over says "I like that one best" She's just a good looking hen. Nice coloring and she has a great build.
Thanks for the compliment, I'll let her know! (She loves being fussed over)
