Oprah had a show about this a few yearsa ago; they are coming from overseas, because people over there do not bathe and if you stay in one of their hostels or hotels or whatever, you have a very good chance of bringing them back either in your clothes or somewhere in your suitcase. Head lice are bad enough, now we have this to worry about!!!!

Kind of makes me want to run by the local Bed Bath and Beyond for one of those fancy sleeping bag type sheet sets.

Geez, I'm still feeling my skin crawl.

At the same time, the appleseed-sized critters have developed a pesticide resistance because those chemicals are still in use in other countries.

Wow. Either way the bedbugs win. Silly pesticide resistant things.

Or used furniture from the second hand store. Folks do sleep in them like sofas. UGH! Not only that, they do bring in fleas!

Hubby and I had a dispute....he says bedbugs eat the dead skin and does not suck human blood. I say they DO and dust mites are the ones that eats the dead flaky skin we shed at night.

Now for motels, might have to buy one of those throw away plastic mattress wraps so we dont bring home the bedbugs !

Bedbugs definitely bite , mites eat the dead skin.
My brother ended up with these after staying in a hotel
at a casino in Reno.... a nice one too! They didnt notice
them at the hotel but brought them home in their suitcases
to their bed. He was calling me and asking where I got my DE. He saidthat you don't notice when you are sleeping but a few hours after you wake up you are going nuts with the bites all over you.
They didnt get what it was at first but then his wife was washing everything in the house in hot water.

The DE got rid of them.
