I have read that yogert is a good idea at any age for my girls. Should i look for any specific kind or stay away from any kind? I understand that the flavored is bad, but is there any other thing to look for?

You want the plain, low fat kind. It usually comes in larger containers than the flavored kind.
I won't feed the flavored kind to my chickens, unless I have some that's just going to waste. Too much fat, sugar and/or artificial sweeteners IMO.

Quote:Yes, it's full of beneficial bacteria for their gut. Also, a good source of protein. Feed it to them real cold in the summertime to help them cool off.
