Here's what happened when I set out a bowl of plain yogurt for the girls to sample for the first time. They got it all over their feathers, nibbling it off each other's backs after they'd shaken their heads, making a continuous excited buzzing. Then they wiped their beaks on the ground because they were unfamiliar with the way it stuck to them, then dove right back into the bowl.

I tore down the last of my pole beans and let the girls have at the stems and leaves. OH, BOY! [IMG]

Nice pics, and the birds look very happy! I usually put the bowl down and run, otherwise I'll end up wearing the yogurt! [IMG]

Yes, they are nice looking birds, these ISAbrowns seem like good layers and really strong foragers. I was not fond of the ones I got for the first while as they were agressive in the flock. But am warming up to them now.

Gave mine a plate of yogurt the other night, my one EE roo could not stand the yogurt getting on his beek or face feathers, all sorts of head shaking, foot scratching and wiping his face in the dirt, then he resorted to just picking yogurt splashes off the hens.

    This is very, very serious...

I have to report this picture as a confirmed case of fhc syndrome.

All the telltale signs are there.
