Yogurt for your Chickens

    Anyone ever feed their chickens yogurt. I heard its meant to be quite good for them. Keeps their insides healthy. Healthy insides = healthy eggs [​IMG]

    Lots of people do. Have you ever tried making it? Look in the recipe forum for a great money saving recipe. [​IMG]

    It's a probiotic. I typically give it to all my chicks a couple days before they leave the brooder and hit the grass.

    All the time. They love it. Plain with active cultures. Yum. [​IMG]
     
  5. i give mine yogurt in the morning and they literally SCREAM as i put it down. They all love it! i give them organic, fat free, plain.

    every day... I give it the first day the chicks are hatched free choice.

    Almost every day. Hint: it's very messy if you just put it on a plate or bowl. Mix it up with dry oatmeal -- makes it chunky and easy to eat.
