I live in NC and I'm looking for a beautiful Yokohama or Phoenix Cockerel to watch over my hens. The problem is I only need one and I want to raise it from a chick so it won't spur me to death. Can anyone point me in the direction of a breeder or hatchery that will sale me a single chick that also carries one of these breeds? Since I won't be using a rooster for eggs (obviously) and I don't want to raise it for meat I really would like an ornamental rooster for my flock. If anyone can help me out I really really appreciate it!
