yolk sac hanging out!!

can a chick survive if the yolk sac did not went inside the belly? i had one shamo hatched today but had the yolk sac hanging out and will not go in. its already dried hard and it is attached by a thin piece of tissue. please any advice on whether i should put it down or let it live? please any help thanks

It will fall off on it's own. We had a chick hatch that way last spring, left her in the incubator until it came off. I believe our incubating temp was a little low. She was a day late hatching and yolk wasn't absorbed fully.

ok thanks for the quick response. the thing is that i had a surrogate chicken sitting on 10 eggs, but she ate one. on day 19, i removed the eggs and put them on my incubator, four chicks hatched yesterday right on time. this specific chick hatched today, one day late. 3 of the nine eggs were clear when i candled them so i disposed of them.
