I had a little fella hatch today, and it's yolk sack hadn't absorbed fully. I freaked out when I saw her. I picked her up and put her in a container where she wouldn't drag it around and puncture it to see if it'd absorb. Well.. She popped it. So I clamped it off and cut it off. Her navel seemed to close up, mostly. Most of the day she was quiet and didn't move much, now she seems to be chirping stronger and demanding my attention. But I've never had this happen before. Has anyone had this happen, and they lived? Also, what are your recommended care instructions? I'm hoping she makes it. Shes about 10hrs old.
