    I was sitting on the couch yesterday eating my PBJ for lunch before I went to job #2 and i hear...................

    cluck, cluck, cluck...............peep, peep, peep. So I peaked in the brooder and I saw

    These are your babies. I'll get more pics when mom lets them out from under.

    9 but I candled the other day and I think 3 are duds. That is OK I have 12 more on the way to set. I have hatches every week from now till the middle of June. [​IMG]

    Just curious...is this hen a splash Cochin or lavender Cochin, or even a lavender splash Cochin? I have a broody that looks EXACTLY like that, but wasn't quite sure what to call the color.

    Good question. I have no idea. I thought it was a blue cochin.
