Tired of looking for this peacock ...!
I decided to make it!
2 down, 148 more feathers to go... good luck getting the bird to sit still that long
Problem ... what dye to use ! It must dry quickly and not fade with the sun.
... other ideas ...!
One or more genes are active regarding the eye of the feather, We have seen with the mutation white eyes ... some genes are able to erase the color of the eye.
I search the reverse genes .... those who are able to color the eye!
If some exist ... others ... too !
With the technique "CRISPR - case 9" we will be able to recolor the eyes of the white peacocks!
Compare two peacock genomes ... a pure Pavo cristatus and a pure Pavo cristatus with white eyes (no split). etc.. etc ...
