    Lacey, 3 yo speckled sussex, decided my checking oil was interesting and I had to get pix. Shes my only ss and a chosen one to live out her life as a pet. Very personable hen.

    I do like ss but since she talks SO much(I adore her but she is ANNOYING) I was hesitant to get more ss for fear they would never shut up like she never shuts up.And I am in central Ohio(saw u are in oh. glenann)

    Wow, that's a big, beautiful chicken you have! I have to Sussex chicks, and I just can't imagine them being that big! Looks like your girl keeps close tabs on all that goes on :)

    She needs some overalls so she doesn't get her pretty feathers greasy and dirty!!

    She is a beauty! Funny girl, I bet she is a trip. I love nosey chickens myself.....but agree sometimes they can get annoying!

    Mine also helps with the car...by cleaning the bugs off of my bumper! Now to get her to change the oil for me....very funny pics!

    I'd be concerned she may be adding some of her own special chicken poop brand of oil to your oil change! What a cutie though.
