I had just put my 24 D'uccle chicks outside in a pen next to the big chickens when one of the hens hurt her leg. After keeping her in the house a couple of days, I put her out with the chicks. I didn't figure the little chicks would pick on her. I went out to check on them and this is what I found.

She actually let them cuddle with her in the coop for a few nights. They really loved it.

Can you imagine what she would say if she could speak?
