The bottom ones. Also from what I've heard they're great for fish spawn.

Sea Monkeys!! Those bring back memories of reading the "Archie's". LOL!!

Yep, that's quite a trade. What are people doing with Emu's these days? Pets or do you have other plans?

I don't own any ,but I know they were introduced here in the states mostly for meat. But the market crashed over night.

ETA:Most people keep them as pets now.

The Emu industry is actually starting to rebound now...you can tell be the rising cost of eggs and baby Emu's. About 4 years ago I bought 4 -4 week old emu's and they were $50 each..and now they are asking close to $100 per chick.

I spoke with a couple Emu farmers here in Wisconsin that said they will NOT sell babies anymore to people seeking pets, as they want more people to start Emu farming for meat and other products to help the Emu market with it's current rebound.

My plan is to breed them eventually. Most who own them keep them as pets and only have one or two. However, the emu market is on the rise, as is the demand for eggs.
