I have a young chicken, about five weeks old. Within the past few days she has been twisting her neck in a circular movement, always fluffed up, has a very large breast compared to my other chickens, and spends most of her time sleeping or with her eyes partially closed. She is still eating, drinking and walks just fine. Does anyone know what I could do to help my poor chicken? Thank you!

Welcome to BYC. Can you locate her crop, and feel if it is full and hard, and again in the morning before she has eaten much feel to see if it is empty. Make sure that she is taking plenty of water, a small tsp of plain yogurt for probiotics daily, and massage her crop downward several times a day. Chicks may have prominent crops, but they should fill up after eating, and then go down some. If they sleep overnight, it should be mostly empty by early morning.
