I found a chicken acting slow and discovered its head was hard and crusty with some kind of skin issue. Does this look familial to any one?

If you recognize this please help me to identify what is going on with him.
Thank you

It looks like favus. Miconazole will treat it.
You can type "favus" in the BYC search box and read about it in other threads.
X 2. Lotrimin (clotrimazole) is another medicine that is usefull against favus, and the generic is fairly inexpensive.
