Welcome to BYC! Glad you joined the flock. Peacocks and peahens will sometimes display when they are a year old. Peacocks can sometimes grow a train in when they are two years old but expect a full train when they are three years old. If you have questions on peafowl I or others in the peafowl section would be more than happy to help. What kind of peafowl do you have? If you don't know post a picture and I can help you try and identify it.

These are my Indian Blues. My male Colbolt is 4 years old in this photo. My hen Sage is behind his train, on the door.

You'll love it when those two are 3 years old. Pied peacocks will sometimes have a nice mix of white train feathers along with Indian Blue train feathers. Fall of 2017 the males should have trains if not it will be the fall of 2018.
 
Birdrain is quite a Peafowl whisperer - and very good at taming them. Welcome to Backyard chickens( and ducks, geese, emus, peafowl, quail etc.)
