Young pullets and Older rooster

I have 3 month old pullets and a large 1 year old rooster. I noticed today he is holding them down and topping them for breeding. Will this damage their body structure and should I separate him till the pullets are considerably larger? They are all Orpingtons so he is a pretty large rooster

If it were me, I would remove him until they are physically/sexually mature.

I agree with @sourland Remove him and let the girl's finish growing up, then put him back in with them.

It's like giving a sumo wrestler a piggy back ride.

Aart is right, that really isn't a desirable behavior.
A good rooster that has all his biological and mental ducks in a row won't mount the kids period.

Thanks for the responses. Removed him from the pen. He goes into the pot this weekend

Rest the cleaned carcass well(2-3days), before going into the pot.

I've always let mine cool down in body temp after butchering and cleaning. Then vacuum sealed the chicken and put in the freezer. Do you just let yours rest in the fridge if your going to eat it sooner then later ?
