Young roo?

    Hello. I am a first time owner of chicks. I bought pullets (I thought), but one of my leghorns has a much larger, red comb. I am guessing they are 2 weeks of age. Am I jumping the gun on labeling it a roo? Going to attempt to attach some pics. Thank you![​IMG]

    I've got nine 3 to 4 week old White Leghorn hens, and none of their combs are even pink. All yellow, and not that big. By comparison with mine, that's a rooster.

    Thank you. The others are much smaller and yellowish, so I was guessing that. And he doesn't seem as jumpy as the others. I think I'm gonna go with roo! lol I just wanted other opinions since I'm a rookie :)
