I have been hatching out a few generations of silver coturnix. I like this colour variety because they are easy to tell male from female early on. The males seem to all be lighter than the females. I recently hatched a batch of 3 silver and I forgot to make note of the father (because I recently switched out roosters for genetic diversity). I don’t know if this is a batch from the Pharoah dad or the Italian dad but I ended up with one baby with interesting coloration. He/she is light silver (like a male) with dark silver patches. The wings are especially striking light with dark tips.
I have a couple of questions for those with more experience than me: what colour morph is this? Can you tell if this is a male or female?

Here are pics of the normal silver brother and sister egg-mates.

Yes, ... :welcome

We here in Germany call them Blue-Wildpattern, Silver-Wildpattern is much lighter, as defined here.
Silver, like SSC, doesn't have the Wildpattern.

Here a SSC

But I am also at the beginning of these mutations.

I just have two Blue-Wildpattern new, 4 weeks old. I guess two boys

Ahh I see. So what I have is blue-wildpattern not silver? I was told they were silver from the breeder so they were probably misinformed as well.
That doesn’t explain the dark wing tips though. None of the other offspring ever had that so it will be interesting to see how this one develops.
Also my adult males are much lighter blue than yours with no orange. They have a bit of blonde on chest and streaking on the back.

Thank you for the link to the Myshire video. I will be watching some more of their videos for sure!

It is definition, as Zack from MyShire said. Blue, Lavender, Dark Silver... so many confusion about naming of Coturnix Quail Color Mutations 🙈
