hi, i have a squeeker that was born on the 1st this month. when i checked on it this morning in the loft i noticed that it had a kind of a medium sized scab on its crop. what looks like a small puncture wound. are the parents stepping on it? theres nothing pokey in the nest, (its filled with soft hay) so idk how it happened. should i put some anti-bacterial stuff on it so it doesn't get infected? like neo-sporin or something? what (if anything) should i do? is this normal? it also has a small scab on its neck.
thanks --cochingurl--

never mind. i just went to check on it and it was dead.
