I know many of you have or have read many books, besides coming to BYC for the wealth of knowledge available here!!

If you could have only one book from your library (don't have to own the book, just a great book) which would it be??? I am looking to get a couple great books to have and would love your advice/input!! I did this on my other boards for American Pit Bull Terriers (after I bought any and all APBT books I could find), Beef Cattle, Horses, and now Chickens! I have some amazing books from this method!!

    Thanks,
    Sarah

Storey's Guide to Rasing Chickens. But now that I know a lot more, I'm looking for something a little more "advanced".

One of my very favorite books of all times is "The Egg and I" by Betty MacDonald.

Much much better than the movie they made from that book. I'd put it in my bag before being exiled to a desert island.
