Yummy Caesar Salad Recipe

    Hello Everyone! Just wanted to share the Caesar Salad recipe i make for us often. Its super yummy!

    1 Bunch Green Onions
    4-5 Garlic Cloves - minced
    1/2 tube anchovy paste
    1/2 C. Vinegar
    1 C. Canola Oil
    8 Oz. Can parmesan cheese
    1 egg

    Add anchovy paste to a medium bowl. Whisk in vinegar. Add green onions and garlic, whisk again. Whisk in egg (i usually coddle the egg- pour boiling water over it, let it sit 1 minute, then add to dressing)
    Slowly add oil (in a thin stream) while continuously whisking. After all oil is added add the can of parmesan cheese and use the whisk to throughly mix everything.

    Toss some dressing with Romaine lettuce.

    WARNING: This makes ALOT of dressing, enough for 2 people to have Caesar salad every night for a week (which we do, but we love it)

    I love caesar dressing, but I don't know if I could eat it after seeing/smelling the anchovy paste before it went in. Kind of how I don't think I could eat one of my chickens after the process of killing them.

    I'm sure your recipe is delicious. Maybe I'll start by making caesar dressing and then if I can eat that, I'll try processing a chicken. Baby steps, right? [​IMG]
