Dose anyone know where to find the zoning regulations for Syracuse NY (zip:13215) ? I called but they said chickens weren't allowed. Then i found on an official looking website that said they were! [IMG]

Can anyone help me with this problem? [IMG]

Just get them and don't tell anyone and keep it clean and nice with the neighbors. It doesn't sound like most cities know their own ordnances.

Many people who work in the city offfices don't know what they are talking about when in comes to animal ordinances. They immediately assume that chicken means livestock and are not allowed. I would go with what you found online, especially if the website is kept current. This also avoids drawing unwanted attention if you do decide to skirt the law.
