Hey guys, are you sure it's safe to go out there?

Sure it's safe! Look there's a clod of grass, woo hoo! Come on everybody, let's go!

Does anyone else get the feeling like we're being watched?

Chickens? I thought it was my new dog house? You put chickens in my dog house?

OMG! Nobody move!!! Pretend you're invisible!

Whew! Good thing you showed up, Mom. We were almost eaten by a big, scary fur monster! And it had huge scary teeth. And, and...

How old are you cutie patootie barred rocks? We have six 3-week old barred rocks and our new, improved coop should be done (aka delivered pre-assembled!) in a week or so. I can't for them to be able to stretch their wings out in the coop and run. Their rubbermaid container (aka current home) is SHRINKING with each day and they are getting quite cramped in there...

I try to let them out to explore in the grass (in a safe, secure area) at least once a day, but the girls are eager to be outside full-time, I think.

Your pullets looks GREAT! I love barred rocks!

They're just over six weeks old. You don't happen to need any roos? I have three extra!

I'm so glad we finally have a place for them to spread their wings, even if it's only a temporary pen until the full run is finished. One of them caught a worm, it was quite exciting. [IMG]
