Help me choose a breed (Yea another one :-P) Mostly looking for semi aggressive breeds. I have narrowed it down some.

A while back I was having problems sourcing materials for my coop. With more family members working real jobs, things are looking up as "some" progress has been made and has me to thinking about the breed to choose. Here are my requirements. 1. Eggs over meat. I want good egg layers, any...

Check out my home-made metal gate/door. (I'm quite proud)

You would be surprised what you can do with one of those cheap welders that run off of 110v. :) Yup! I'm thinking of welding various metal things and create something unique. In all honesty it will probably get some hardware cloth, but I think this would be awesome: (but with a lot less open...

Well, here she is. I have been gathering up as much stuff as I can and came to a point where I said, "Ok, I got enough stuff to build a door now." The door is 32inches wide and 6'3" tall. I used two sets of bed rails and 4 short pieces of rebar. Using a cheap 110v welder I really surprised...

    The “right” feeder.

I must add to this. I too am looking for a good feeder option. Unlike you however I do not wish to have more feed in the pen than they can eat at one time. Here are my requirements which have never been met that I know of. No spilling or waste, don't have to be waterproof but easy to clean...

From nothing to this, an impossible journey. Don't give up on your dreams!

I was going to mention u haul. They require a credit card and drivers license. You can't just drive it around without tags like I can the car.

I'm ready for something local. I did measurements today. My car, with the back seat folded flat and my front passenger seat leaned back, I can get a few 10 foot 2x4's in there with about 18in overhang. I can get lowes to cut plywood in half (2x8) but it won't fit over the front seat so that...

We actually have plenty of roofing metal to use left over from the old mobile home. Its where I got the metal beams, most of the floor and wall studs from. We still at it :)

There isn't much you can put into a trunk of a compact car. I have found a few items on facebook marketplace but again no way to haul anything. We are currently trying to place ads around looking for someone with a truck that would haul some things but no luck so far. I'm having better luck...

Thats just the thing. I don't have lots of logs. I'm trying to stretch them as far as possible. I know of one more that is 10 inches in diameter and might be long/straight enough for some rafters, which I doubt will be big enough for the 12 or so more that I need. Maybe when the leaves fall...
