Personality: Dixie is smart as a whip, but incredibly stubborn. She has a loud and imposing aura, and often thinks negatively of things around her. Under this, she is mostly level-headed, but will lose her head in a fight, especially when those she holds dear are injured before her. Under all this, one who knows Dixie will find that she is sweet, gentle, loving, and mostly patient. She is loyal to the death, willing to give her life for her family or mate's sake.
History: Dixie's backstory is long and twisted, and began in a pack far out of the city limits, in the countryside. Born to the Alpha male and female, Dixie had 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She grew up under the loving care of her parents. Though her brothers died off, Dixie and her sisters thrived, and grew into fine teenagers. But after some controversy between Dixie and the pack, and a fatal accident which killed Dixie's smaller sister, Dixie was forced out of the pack by her father, despised by him and the rest of the pack. The only one who knew and understood the full story was Dixie's other sister. And she never said a word. The pack fell to her, left with no heirs, and Dixie fell to ruins, as she was lost without her family. Taken in by the Jargoans, Dixie fell in love with the young Jargo, the Alpha male of the pack. He kept most of her strife at bay. But when he accepted Harli as his mate, Dixie could no longer care to keep out the strife. Like all other Jargoan dogs in the pack, she remained Jargoan because of the twisted belief that Jargo was right, and that Endigo was wrong, which had been force fed to her from the day she joined. But Dixie eventually found the truth, and joined Golden Pack. Not long after this, she met Mystery, and their life plots became one, as she helped him find who he was. When at last her life grew calm, she became his mate. She is now the mother to seven pups, and a devoted sentry of her pack.
Breed: There are not many defining traits of Dixie, but she appears to be a cross between a solid blue German Shepherd and a Siberian Husky.
Other: She has a lighter colored chest, paws, belly, inner ears, and has warm brown eyes.

Personality: Kinzy is a joyful and well-adjusted dog, with an easy-going, caring personality. Kinzy enjoys life, and lives it to it's fullest. Despite this, she is, much like her sister, stubborn as a mule. She wants the freedom of choice and the ability to do her own thing, and this tends to make her more or less reluctantly obedient. She does, however, hate to disagree, which somewhat defeats her stubbornness. All in all, Kinzy is a happy, loving dog who prefers to agree, love, and be loved.

Personality: Raven started off as a boisterous and outgoing pup, but that was not to last, as in a turn of events, she became more and more of a distant she-dog, a shell of her former self. She now prefers to be alone, though she can at times show her friendly personality, behaving almost as she did when a pup. For the most part, Raven is mostly antisocial, and when threatened in the least she reacts rashly and aggressively, often lashing out on or attacking that which threatens her. This is often not intentional and something she has no control over. She fears what this will do to her. Or to those she loves.
History: Raven was born into Chroma Pack, and is the daughter of Mystery and Dixie. She ran away for reasons unknown after accidentally hitting Jade on the face during a play fight gone wrong.

Personality: Jade is very shy, but would love nothing more than to be the outgoing type, she type her sister, Mint, is. She cant find it in herself to speak in front of other dogs, often fumbling for words, which embarrasses her and only further slaughters her confidence. Despite this, around dogs whom she knows well, Jade is very goofy, as well as understanding and patient, though she can fly off the handle in situations that anger her. She has a good sense of humor, and can and will laugh at herself and her own mistakes. Not the kind to brood or live in the past, she always moves forwards.
History: Jade was born into Chroma Pack, and is the daughter of Mystery and Dixie.

Picture or Description: Jade is a lanky, with a short, course coat. Mostly black like Mystery, she does have a spattered blue underbelly and blue muzzle, tail, and various blue splotches throughout her coat. Her eyes are a bright green.

Personality: Despite coming off as stern and too serious to have fun, Sienna is also compassionate, loving, and does enjoy a good joke. She knows the importance of her place in the pack, and tries her best not to spoil that. Therefore, she often takes the littlest things to the extreme. She is loyal, and very loving.

Personality: Once a cold, emotionless killer, bloodlust burned into his heart, he was a fearsome dog. But as time grew on, this subsided to reveal a true personality. Diablo, as the park knows him, now, is not entirely changed-but indeed much more different. He is mostly calm, relaxed, willing to go with the flow of life--or with whatever his bold mate decides. He will take matters into his own paws when he sees fit. He has mostly no sense of humor and tends to be boring. He is a fearsome daddy.
History: After a long series of events with a dog from his past, Chance, he learned where he had come from. As a pup he and Chance had explored a stream they had been told not to go near. When they both fell in, Diablo escaped the water, but cold to the bone, he collapsed. Jargo took him in, and Diablo, unable to remember even his name, was twisted into the dog he'd always been, a killer. After learning this, he and Trance became mates and together now have a litter of pups.

Personality: Cosmo is much like her mother, stubborn, boisterous, and always ready to voice her opinion. She is loyal to a fault and already, as just a teen, seems to have the determination to defend her family if need be. Despite this, she has the willingness and good humor of her father.
History: She was born into Chroma Pack to Dixie and Mystery

Picture or Description: She has her mother's coloration, though it is a mix between Mystery's black and Dixie's blue, and her mother's head features, with one blue eye and one green. Her chest and underbelly are silvery white and she has a white snip right above her black nose. But, she is disturbingly similar to Ridge, being of a considerably large and muscular build. Larger than an average she-dog, Cosmo certainly is unusual.
(NO, she is NOT Ridge's accidental daughter from Dixie! She is just a lot like her grandfather in some ways.)

Personality: Gray is, very surprisingly, a very mellow, go-with-the-flow kind of dog, despite seeming so much like his mother. Gray hates to fight and tends to spend more time flirting and showing off to the other girls than wrestling with his brothers. He is very much a goofball, joking and often just being dumb. However, when he feels threatened he becomes defensive and will gradually become very angry/sad.
History: She was born into Chroma Pack to Dixie and Mystery.

Picture or Description: Gray is lighter blue than Dixie, and has a white patch that covers the entire left side of his face, up just beneath his perked ear, and spots out in little flecks, mixing with his fur on his cheek. His toes are black, and he has a black tail tip and ears. His eyes are almost a brown green mix in color.
Name: Zebedee (Prefers to be called Zeb)

Age: Only about 4 and half months, one half month older than Mystery and Dixie's pups.

Personality: Zebedee is outgoing and very happy at all times. She can be obnoxious, sometimes, never knowing when to calm down and take things easier. She is always forgiving, and can easily bounce back from a moral injury such as heavy insult. But the one thing Zeb cant take is for her family to be sad--or physically harmed. She is a terrible fighter, mostly because she would sooner promote peace than war; and when it all boils down to it, Zebedee would likely not do too well in a fight.
History: Born to the Alpha female and male of a pack out of the way of the park, Zebedee's family was killed when a rogue male took over. Zeb's parents' friend took her in, and in turn, gave her and their pup, Aiden, to Kinzy. Kinzy made it her goal to sneak the pups to safety and never let them know of what happened, as she wanted to protect them.

Personality: Aiden is very mellow, mostly out of lack of interest in virtually anything. He loves family and friends, but the rest of the world could go to pot for all he cared. He is fearful of quite a few things, but the main one would be to have to fight. Aiden is a coward; he hates even the thought of being faced with a threat.
History: Aiden's mother took in Zebedee when the Alpha male and female's pups were killed after a rogue male took over the pack. But the she-dog knew she could not stay this way for long; she would sooner or later be found out. And being pregnant with her second litter, she was in trouble. So she passed Aiden to Kinzy, and from there, KInzy vowed to take good care of him and Zeb both.
Breed: Nothing is certain of Aiden's breed, but he seems to be a mix of German shepherd and Great Dane.
Other: He is very tall, a bit shorter than a Great Dane.

Personality: Rose is cold and calm, as well as very cunning. But at every action she does that harms another, she feels a fleeting feeling of guilt and questions why she continues to do what she does. But at every time she pushes this away, she further kills her conscience.

Personality: Enola is smart and a quick thinker, with a good head on her. She is gentle, caring, and prefers not to fight if there is a way around it. But she will fight if she must, and if she takes to hating a particular dog, she will even seek to fight with that dog. She isn't exactly what one would call social, and instead spends her time thinking, sometimes scheming, and always planning her next move in life.
History: Part of Nadia's unintentional litter that Jay forced on her, she was born into Kageon Pack and then taken to Blizzard Pack by her mother.

Personality: Astrea is so much the opposite of her father and sister; she is generally happy and very outgoing, with a good heart. She is so much a submissive dog that she has a hard time saying no to anything asked of her, quite like her mother, and as a result she tends to be the butt of labor and of jokes. Despite knowing this, Astrea tries not to let it bother her. In rare instances where she becomes angry, Astrea's reactions are interesting, as she lashes out first and then runs as though to escape it all.

Personality: Blake knows he looks good and this promotes his suave personality. He is a very meticulous dog, despite the stereo-type that being so charming means he is an airhead. His keen, attentive personality traits, inherent from his father beta in Jay's pack, would benefit Blake well if it were not for his lack of responsibility, as he prefers to goof around rather than take care of business. He applies his more mature traits to sentry duty, and this makes him an effective sentry, as he rarely misses a thing.
History: Blake was born into Kageon Pack to his mother, Sahira, and his father, Lex. Lex, whom hadn't known he was the father of Sahira's pups, had been accused of tainting Nadia's pups, which Jay had wanted for himself. Sahira was only able to save Blake, out of her entire litter, and she ran to Blizzard pack with Nadia.

Personality: Nadia is meek and gentle, and, for the most part, very quiet. Despite being so shy and silent, she can be angry at times, due to her own past, and she often will snap on a dog if she feels stressed. She is willing to do most anything, even against her own will, as she has no idea what else she would do, nor does she know how to speak for herself. She lacks her own willpower, and therefore she is the subject of many horrid things that she would prefer not to do or have done. In rare instances, she will snap and defy another dog, those this always backfires and does more harm than good to her.
History: Nadia was born into Kageon Pack previously as a Jargoan, and abused by her parents who wanted her to be something of worth so as to present her to one of Jargo's sons as a mate. She, being there only pup, lacked what they sought and never heard the end of their disgust when Jargo turned down their offer, back when Tarro was in the pack. As a result, Nadia is a very depressed dog, having been told she is a failure and a disgrace since she was a teen. After Jay forced a litter on her, she ran away and took refuge in Blizzard Pack, where she now raises her pups, Elona and Astrea.

Personality: River is extremely competitive, spiteful, and vindictive. He has no sense of right from wrong, willing to do whatever he needs to in order to get what he wants or needs. He is exceptionally seductive with she-dogs, but not flirtatious. He is cold towards near everyone else, though this is generally viewed as being introverted. From his perspective, believes that Rex favors Flag over his siblings, which only fuels his spite and anger.
History: Born to his mother and raised by his biological father, Rex, he has lived a near perfect life.

Personality: Kayak has two different personalities. In general, he is spiteful and full of himself, being both smart and strong, he views himself supreme, a leader and a king. Because of this hot-headedness, he feels no need for the care from others, and therefore remains detached. He will, however, become attached to dogs whom he believes "need him"; when he finds a dog like this, he will make it a personal matter, that dog then having his fullest protection, support, and whatever care he can offer. From the standpoint of those whom Kayak loves, it is arguable that he is a villain, but those who know Kayak's motives for power, and what he will do to achieve that will argue otherwise.
History: Kayak was born to Jargo and Harli in Jargoan Pack, from the same litter that Tarro, Ebony, and Ginger came from. Believed to be a stillborn, Kayak was dumped in a ditch a long ways into the loner lands. The heat of the summer kept him warm, and in that time he came to life. His mewlings attracted a lactating loner she-dog, and she took him in. Nurturing Kayak, always filling his head with the belief that he was great, so as to keep his head up in times where he believed he was dirt, Kayak grew up with her. And her last words to him were, "You will be great, my son,". After her death Kayak worked hard to achieve what she believed him to be, as she was the only one who ever had faith in him. And so Kayak still strives to achieve what she told him.

Name: Russet
Gender: Male

Personality: Russet is mild-mannered, reserved he-dog. While outgoing, he generally does not speak unless spoken to, except for situations that excite, anger, or startle him. He is easily hurt by harsh words and tension between he and another dog. Grudges, when formed between him and another dog, are hard to resolve. While not vengeful, he will ignore and shun a dog if he is angry at the dog. He is, despite being an introvert, friendly and warm towards dogs he knows, and will even goof off.
History: Russet, born 5 months after his older brother, Mantis, was the only surviving pup of the litter. The stress of labor eventually killed their mother, and not long after, their father died in a fight at the border. Left with only Mantis to raise him, Russet grew closer to Mantis as he was raised by him.
Breed: Mixed, with some husky in their appearance.

Personality: Something of a clingy, reliant she-dog, Pastel hasn't had much of an opportunity to reveal her true personality as she spends most of her time mimicking her twin sister, Violet. She seems fairly needy, not anything of a self-reliant she dog. She appears to be somewhat timid like her mother, and the occasional sarcastic remark suggests she has part of her father's personality.
History: Born to Mantis and Scarlet of Chroma Pack

Name: Cyan
Gender: Male
Age: 3 Years

Personality: Cyan has, in his past, seemed cold and vindictive, seeking and desiring revenge. But by looking at his motives for that, one will find that Cyan is truly just easily hurt and his first manner of dealing with hurt is to get revenge. While this is not admirable, he is admittedly a confused dog, never sure of whether he is peaceable or at war. One whom knows Cyan--who truly knows him--will know him as mild mannered, polite, gentle, easily hurt by insult, and with the great need for a role model.
History: Cyan's history goes back a long ways and starts with a puphood crush on Cerise. When Steele was assigned to Beta rather than Cyan, he believed Cerise actually liked Steele better. Angry, he plotted alongside Teal to overthrow Cerise, where he would have had revenge. He failed, and during the fight with her he confessed his old crush on her. Then he fled. He is seen every so often, generally as another dog's toady, though he seems to be making his own path now.

Name: Sonya
Gender: female
Age: 4 years

Mate: none
Personality: Quiet and sweet, she often can’t muster up the courage to say no. She is ditzy at times, but mostly dependable as a friend. She has little confidence in herself, and never seems to state anything with much certainty. She can be slow to understand things due to her deafness, and it takes a patient dog to interact with her.
History: Sonya was born in the wild, out beyond the city somewhere where people raised animals for food. Due to complications, her mother passed away shortly after she was born and her father raised her with the help of his family. When it became known that a family of dogs was living out there where there was farmland that they might choose to invade, the local humans called animal control. Sonya and her family were taken away, and she was separated from her father. She escaped when, on a walk, the clumsy human dropped her leash. Since then, she has been reunited with her father, Swampson, and they now live in Golden pack where she is learning the art of healing.
Breed: Mix; she looks like mostly husky, but less fluffy and more wiry
Other: Sonya was born deaf, and sometimes misses out on parts of a conversation if she isn't looking directly at the dog speaking. Her father is Swampson.
Picture or description: She is reddish-brown overall with a tan belly, throat, and muzzle. Her front legs have ‘socks’ of light brown, but her toes are the same reddish-brown as her torso. Her eyes are pale ice-blue, but somehow hold a warm, kindness in them.

Personality: Laid back, easygoing, calm. Doesn’t let things bother him. He is an excellent swimmer and almost prefers to be in the water than to be on land.
History: Taj was born and raised in the Cerulean pack. When the dogs of that pack died out and disappeared, he went with Faith to Willow pack, where he joined their ranks.
Breed: Mixed; resembles a Doberman, but a bit thinner and more spindly. His tail is not docked and his ears are not cropped.
Picture or description: Black and tan with uneven white blotches on his face, chest, shoulders, and hind legs. All four of his paws are dipped in white. His eyes are dark brown and somewhat intense. His tail curls to brush his back.

Personality: A grumpy, elderly dog, Swampson does not like long conversations or meeting new dogs. He can be snippy, and still maintains a level of curtness even when he is in a good mood. He is always glad to teach young whippersnappers a lesson or two.
History: Born in a swamp in the countryside, he grew up making a living by stealing from nearby farms. He eventually met his mate on a scavenging trip to a barnyard, a beautiful livestock guardian dog that initially was hostile. Soon, she softened to Swampson and left her farm with him to start a family. She passed away in labor, producing just one pup; Sonya. Before long, the family was torn apart by dog catchers, who took Sonya away and kept Swampson as an 'office pet' in the pound. After helping Endigo escape the pound, Swampson followed him and joined Golden pack, reuniting with his daughter.
Other: Swampson is Sonya's father. With so many years of experience, he is quite possibly the best medical dog in the park.
Picture or description: Swampson is a muddy brown color overall, which darkens along his back and is blotted white from age at his muzzle. His paws are seemingly stained with mud and are always caked with dirt. His fur is shaggy and matted from age. His build resembles that of a husky.

History: No one knows where he came from. No one knows what he has experienced. There are scars, but he does not speak of them. There are rumors, but he does not acknowledge them. It’s likely for the best that no one pushes him for information.

History: Faith was born in a male-dominant pack, which didn’t allow the females of the pack to even leave their camp. After growing up in oppression, Faith escaped and fled the land. She joined Cerulean pack, but the dogs of that pack slowly disappeared until it was just her and Taj. Then, the two of them journeyed to Willow pack and joined their ranks.
Other: Taj is her best friend and, whether she admits it or not, she's quite fond of him.

Picture or description: Faith looks very much like a German shepherd with the black saddle and overcoat markings. Unlike a German shepherd, though, she has more of a smoky gray color in her fur rather than the typical beige. Her eyes are lovely and dark, usually appearing black, though they look dark blue in the right lighting.

Personality: Mystery is a charming, fun-loving guy who occasionally likes to show off, especially in front of the ladies. He loves to make others laugh and often tries to cheer up anyone that's looking glum. He has a very good memory and will remember things for a long time, so dogs often find that he knows them better than they realize. He forgives easily and is hard to upset, though he will defend his friends to the best of his abilities.
History: He was born deep in the city, and his mother died for unknown reasons. He was adopted by a family in Chroma pack, and grew up not knowing this. Instead, he believed that this was his family by blood, and that Teal was his brother. As adults, Teal took on a mate, but was violently jealous about her being near Mystery. The she-dog was found dead and Teal was found to be the murderer, but he convinced Mystery that it was an accident and so Mystery left with Teal to protect him.
Mystery lost his memory for a while through a strike to his head inflicted by Teal that was meant to kill him. Having awoken in Golden pack's den, he slowly regained his memory with some help from Dixie. Around this time, Teal managed to convince Mystery that it was Mystery that murdered Teal's mate, and so Mystery left to take punishment for his deeds. But it was revealed by the Chroma pack dogs that it was Teal that was the murderer, and so while Mystery waited for judgement, Dixie went with four young Chroma pack dogs to catch Teal. Mystery was freed and Teal was sentenced to death. But Teal came back, and soon Mystery found himself fighting Teal again for the fate of Chroma pack. Having convinced his brother to be good, or so he thought, he turned his back and was attacked. Teal then fled and was seen by a Chroma pack patrol being hit by a truck and carried off by the humans within it...
Mystery, meanwhile, became mates with Dixie and together they had three daughters, Raven, Minty, and Jade. They have since lived happily in Chroma pack. For now...

History: Teal grew up with his adopted brother, Mystery, in Chroma pack, a pack deep in the city away from the park. As a young adult, Teal took on a mate, a she-dog named Orchid. But Teal became suspicious of how much time she spent with Mystery. When Orchid revealed that they would have pups, Teal killed her, thinking the pups were Mystery's. As it turned out, they were his own, something he didn't find out until he was caught and tried for the she-dog's murder. He was sentenced to death, but Steel, the dog that was to be his executioner, didn't kill him and instead partnered up with him to take over Chroma pack. After fighting with his brother, Teal pretended to want to be good so that Mystery would turn his back, and then he attacked. Thinking Mystery was dead, he fled from Chroma pack, only to be hit on a street by a truck. Humans carried his body away and he hasn't been seen by the pack since.
Mystery, however, has met his brother since this happened. In a justified twist of fate, Teal had become paralyzed by being hit by the truck and is now a human's pet and bound to a wheel-cart in order to move. He seems to have changed his ways, but one thing that Teal has always proved is that you never know what he may be planning...

Picture or Description: A lot like a wolf in appearance, Teal has coarse black fur covering his body, except on his shoulder where there is a paler mark like a scar that fur grew over. He is fairly big and muscular, but built sleek and limber. His eyes are a cold, piercing blue.

Personality: A quiet, introverted dog, Grimm is not one for conversation and often speaks in short, curt sentences. He is very patient and caring, though he doesn't look the type. He can be pessimistic about life in general, but he is still hard working when someone needs him. He does not emote much, giving the impression that he is cold and distant, but he has been hardened over the years and doesn't know any different. Those that know him well can tell when he is happy or sad, though, by the look in his eyes or the way he speaks.
History: Grimm was born to humans in a litter of three boys. He was uniquely smart to the humans, which often gained him praise and admiration that his brothers were jealous of. In his adolescence, his brothers tricked him and he ended up locked in a walk-in freezer at a meat locker. When humans found him there, instead of taking sympathy on the nearly frozen to death dog, they beat him and kicked him, and then threw him out.
He was given no breaks. People walked by, ignoring him. No one even tried to help. By some miracle, though, a medical dog came by, and took care of him until he could get along on his own. He respected the dog, and learned from her. He soon was a fairly skilled apprentice, and had become quite close to the medical dog he learned from.
But his hardships were not over. He found the medical dog dead by a road. His heart crushed, he left, putting his medical dog training behind him and becoming a Jargoan pack killer. Still, as years passed, he found it harder and harder to take life, and soon he decided that he could do it no longer. He wanted a new start, a third chance at life, and he knew that the Willow pack was exactly the place for dogs like him.

Other: He is a decent medical dog, but not nearly as skilled as Swampson of Golden pack. He made a vow never to take a dog's life again upon leaving the Jargoan pack, and so he does not do any fighting unless it is to protect the weak or young.
Picture or Description: A mostly black dog with white blotches and speckles, his fur is mid-length, particularly long at the points. His eyes are beautiful and brown, but hold within them a coldness that his past has set into him. He is a medium/large sized dog, somewhat scary looking and with long, graceful legs.

Personality: Cerise is a strong, level-headed Alpha, with a deep attachment to her packmates and a strong sense of justice. She is cunning, often seeing through dogs that try to play her for a fool. She is generous, but definitely not weak, standing beside her decisions with confidence. She is not easy to anger, keeping patient and not letting herself sway no matter what is said to her. She's the kind of leader that is hard to dislike, and it shows in the respect that she not only receives, but gives.
History: Born into Chroma pack, Cerise grew up a common dog, but she was happy where she was and she made those around her happy. She became close to many, gaining support as she grew. As a young adult, her justness impressed the Alpha and she was promoted to the rank of Beta. When the Alpha passed away, she took over as leader of the pack. She has been a beloved leader since.

Picture or Description: Cerise is a larger she-dog with a base coat of black. Her fur is streaked with gray, which swirls down her front legs and gives sharp definition to her face. Her eyes are deep, reddish-brown, soulful and expressive.

History: Light grew up looking up to Mystery. When he left, Light became determined to find him, and so she rounded up her friends and headed out. After helping Dixie track down and catch Teal, thereby freeing Mystery, she was promoted to Sentry in Chroma pack.

Personality: Quiet and brooding usually, Mantis has a dark personality and a sarcastic sense of humor. He is very protective of his little brother, and seems outwardly more happy when around him. Though he likes to make it seem like he is cool and tough, he does show a great deal of worry when he or his brother have been put into danger, something he's not happy to admit after the fact.
History: Mantis was the only survivor of the litter he was born in. Raised alone, he became a little spoiled by his parents' attention, something that was soon ruined for him. He was only 5 months old when his parents had another litter of pups, from which only one pup survived, Russet. The stress of the labor was the death of their mother, something that Mantis initially blamed Russet for. But when their father died in a border skirmish not long afterward, Mantis grew closer to his brother from having to practically raise him on his own.

But with company, he is perfectly warm and friendly. He is a great story teller and loves pups, often caught reminiscing about having his own.
History: Sometimes, when you catch him alone, you can see the hurt of his past in his eyes, the deep sorrow of loss and betrayal the likes of which one dog should never have to face alone… But as jolly of a soul as Jiyaken is, he doesn’t like to bring others down with his tale of woe.

When Layla became an adult, she became pregnant with Banner's pups. He died in battle though, and after giving birth to the pups, became Rex's mate. Later, to save the puppies lives, and to also be able to raise the pups the way they wanted to, they ran away and started a new pack. Willowpack. A pack committed to the destruction of Goldenpack, for revenge of Banner's death.

History: No one really knows. She somehow came to Jargoan pack and lived there through the fight between Endigo and Jargo. She betrayed Jargo though, and as a result, Jargo was set after her blood. Then she met Scout. The love of her life. He was a loner, she was a pack dog. Then, she was captured by the dog catcher and taken to the pound. Scout rescued her, and most of the dogs there. In the process, Layla picked up a puppy. She was an orphan, and needed someone to care for her. Layla took on the job without second thought. During one of the many trials of Layla's life, Scout died. She then went to live with her daughter and son-in-law in their pack, where she's been ever since.

Personality: Dixie is smart as a whip, but incredibly stubborn. She has a loud and imposing aura, and often thinks negatively of things around her. Under this, she is mostly level-headed, but will lose her head in a fight, especially when those she holds dear are injured before her. Under all this, one who knows Dixie will find that she is sweet, gentle, loving, and mostly patient. She is loyal to the death, willing to give her life for her family or mate's sake.
History: Dixie's backstory is long and twisted, and began in a pack far out of the city limits, in the countryside. Born to the Alpha male and female, Dixie had 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She grew up under the loving care of her parents. Though her brothers died off, Dixie and her sisters thrived, and grew into fine teenagers. But after some controversy between Dixie and the pack, and a fatal accident which killed Dixie's smaller sister, Dixie was forced out of the pack by her father, despised by him and the rest of the pack. The only one who knew and understood the full story was Dixie's other sister. And she never said a word. The pack fell to her, left with no heirs, and Dixie fell to ruins, as she was lost without her family. Taken in by the Jargoans, Dixie fell in love with the young Jargo, the Alpha male of the pack. He kept most of her strife at bay. But when he accepted Harli as his mate, Dixie could no longer care to keep out the strife. Like all other Jargoan dogs in the pack, she remained Jargoan because of the twisted belief that Jargo was right, and that Endigo was wrong, which had been force fed to her from the day she joined. But Dixie eventually found the truth, and joined Golden Pack. Not long after this, she met Mystery, and their life plots became one, as she helped him find who he was. When at last her life grew calm, she became his mate. She is now the mother to seven pups, and a devoted sentry of her pack.
Breed: There are not many defining traits of Dixie, but she appears to be a cross between a solid blue German Shepherd and a Siberian Husky.
Other: She has a lighter colored chest, paws, belly, inner ears, and has warm brown eyes.

Personality: Raven started off as a boisterous and outgoing pup, but that was not to last, as in a turn of events, she became more and more of a distant she-dog, a shell of her former self. She now prefers to be alone, though she can at times show her friendly personality, behaving almost as she did when a pup. For the most part, Raven is mostly antisocial, and when threatened in the least she reacts rashly and aggressively, often lashing out on or attacking that which threatens her. This is often not intentional and something she has no control over. She fears what this will do to her. Or to those she loves.
History: Raven was born into Chroma Pack, and is the daughter of Mystery and Dixie. She ran away for reasons unknown after accidentally hitting Jade on the face during a play fight gone wrong.

Personality: Jade is very shy, but would love nothing more than to be the outgoing type, she type her sister, Mint, is. She cant find it in herself to speak in front of other dogs, often fumbling for words, which embarrasses her and only further slaughters her confidence. Despite this, around dogs whom she knows well, Jade is very goofy, as well as understanding and patient, though she can fly off the handle in situations that anger her. She has a good sense of humor, and can and will laugh at herself and her own mistakes. Not the kind to brood or live in the past, she always moves forwards.

Personality: Once a cold, emotionless killer, bloodlust burned into his heart, he was a fearsome dog. But as time grew on, this subsided to reveal a true personality. Diablo, as the park knows him, now, is not entirely changed-but indeed much more different. He is mostly calm, relaxed, willing to go with the flow of life--or with whatever his bold mate decides. He will take matters into his own paws when he sees fit. He has mostly no sense of humor and tends to be boring. He is a fearsome daddy.
History: After a long series of events with a dog from his past, Chance, he learned where he had come from. As a pup he and Chance had explored a stream they had been told not to go near. When they both fell in, Diablo escaped the water, but cold to the bone, he collapsed. Jargo took him in, and Diablo, unable to remember even his name, was twisted into the dog he'd always been, a killer. After learning this, he and Trance became mates and together now have a litter of pups.

Picture or Description: She has her mother's coloration, though it is a mix between Mystery's black and Dixie's blue, and her mother's head features, with one blue eye and one green. Her chest and underbelly are silvery white and she has a white snip right above her black nose. But, she is disturbingly similar to Ridge, being of a considerably large and muscular build. Larger than an average she-dog, Cosmo certainly is unusual.

Personality: Gray is, very surprisingly, a very mellow, go-with-the-flow kind of dog, despite seeming so much like his mother. Gray hates to fight and tends to spend more time flirting and showing off to the other girls than wrestling with his brothers. He is very much a goofball, joking and often just being dumb. However, when he feels threatened he becomes defensive and will gradually become very angry/sad.
History: She was born into Chroma Pack to Dixie and Mystery.

Picture or Description: Gray is lighter blue than Dixie, and has a white patch that covers the entire left side of his face, up just beneath his perked ear, and spots out in little flecks, mixing with his fur on his cheek. His toes are black, and he has a black tail tip and ears. His eyes are almost a brown green mix in color.

Personality: Zebedee is outgoing and very happy at all times. She can be obnoxious, sometimes, never knowing when to calm down and take things easier. She is always forgiving, and can easily bounce back from a moral injury such as heavy insult. But the one thing Zeb cant take is for her family to be sad--or physically harmed. She is a terrible fighter, mostly because she would sooner promote peace than war; and when it all boils down to it, Zebedee would likely not do too well in a fight.
History: Born to the Alpha female and male of a pack out of the way of the park, Zebedee's family was killed when a rogue male took over. Zeb's parents' friend took her in, and in turn, gave her and their pup, Aiden, to Kinzy. Kinzy made it her goal to sneak the pups to safety and never let them know of what happened, as she wanted to protect them.

Personality: Aiden is very mellow, mostly out of lack of interest in virtually anything. He loves family and friends, but the rest of the world could go to pot for all he cared. He is fearful of quite a few things, but the main one would be to have to fight. Aiden is a coward; he hates even the thought of being faced with a threat.
History: Aiden's mother took in Zebedee when the Alpha male and female's pups were killed after a rogue male took over the pack. But the she-dog knew she could not stay this way for long; she would sooner or later be found out. And being pregnant with her second litter, she was in trouble. So she passed Aiden to Kinzy, and from there, KInzy vowed to take good care of him and Zeb both.

Despite knowing this, Astrea tries not to let it bother her. In rare instances where she becomes angry, Astrea's reactions are interesting, as she lashes out first and then runs as though to escape it all.

Personality: Blake knows he looks good and this promotes his suave personality. He is a very meticulous dog, despite the stereo-type that being so charming means he is an airhead. His keen, attentive personality traits, inherent from his father beta in Jay's pack, would benefit Blake well if it were not for his lack of responsibility, as he prefers to goof around rather than take care of business. He applies his more mature traits to sentry duty, and this makes him an effective sentry, as he rarely misses a thing.
History: Blake was born into Kageon Pack to his mother, Sahira, and his father, Lex. Lex, whom hadn't known he was the father of Sahira's pups, had been accused of tainting Nadia's pups, which Jay had wanted for himself. Sahira was only able to save Blake, out of her entire litter, and she ran to Blizzard pack with Nadia.

Personality: Nadia is meek and gentle, and, for the most part, very quiet. Despite being so shy and silent, she can be angry at times, due to her own past, and she often will snap on a dog if she feels stressed. She is willing to do most anything, even against her own will, as she has no idea what else she would do, nor does she know how to speak for herself. She lacks her own willpower, and therefore she is the subject of many horrid things that she would prefer not to do or have done. In rare instances, she will snap and defy another dog, those this always backfires and does more harm than good to her.
History: Nadia was born into Kageon Pack previously as a Jargoan, and abused by her parents who wanted her to be something of worth so as to present her to one of Jargo's sons as a mate. She, being there only pup, lacked what they sought and never heard the end of their disgust when Jargo turned down their offer, back when Tarro was in the pack. As a result, Nadia is a very depressed dog, having been told she is a failure and a disgrace since she was a teen. After Jay forced a litter on her, she ran away and took refuge in Blizzard Pack, where she now raises her pups, Elona and Astrea.

From his perspective, believes that Rex favors Flag over his siblings, which only fuels his spite and anger.

Personality: Kayak has two different personalities. In general, he is spiteful and full of himself, being both smart and strong, he views himself supreme, a leader and a king. Because of this hot-headedness, he feels no need for the care from others, and therefore remains detached. He will, however, become attached to dogs whom he believes "need him"; when he finds a dog like this, he will make it a personal matter, that dog then having his fullest protection, support, and whatever care he can offer. From the standpoint of those whom Kayak loves, it is arguable that he is a villain, but those who know Kayak's motives for power, and what he will do to achieve that will argue otherwise.
History: Kayak was born to Jargo and Harli in Jargoan Pack, from the same litter that Tarro, Ebony, and Ginger came from. Believed to be a stillborn, Kayak was dumped in a ditch a long ways into the loner lands. The heat of the summer kept him warm, and in that time he came to life. His mewlings attracted a lactating loner she-dog, and she took him in. Nurturing Kayak, always filling his head with the belief that he was great, so as to keep his head up in times where he believed he was dirt, Kayak grew up with her. And her last words to him were, "You will be great, my son,". After her death Kayak worked hard to achieve what she believed him to be, as she was the only one who ever had faith in him. And so Kayak still strives to achieve what she told him.

Personality: Russet is mild-mannered, reserved he-dog. While outgoing, he generally does not speak unless spoken to, except for situations that excite, anger, or startle him. He is easily hurt by harsh words and tension between he and another dog. Grudges, when formed between him and another dog, are hard to resolve. While not vengeful, he will ignore and shun a dog if he is angry at the dog. He is, despite being an introvert, friendly and warm towards dogs he knows, and will even goof off.
History: Russet, born 5 months after his older brother, Mantis, was the only surviving pup of the litter. The stress of labor eventually killed their mother, and not long after, their father died in a fight at the border. Left with only Mantis to raise him, Russet grew closer to Mantis as he was raised by him.

She appears to be somewhat timid like her mother, and the occasional sarcastic remark suggests she has part of her father's personality.

Personality: Cyan has, in his past, seemed cold and vindictive, seeking and desiring revenge. But by looking at his motives for that, one will find that Cyan is truly just easily hurt and his first manner of dealing with hurt is to get revenge. While this is not admirable, he is admittedly a confused dog, never sure of whether he is peaceable or at war. One whom knows Cyan--who truly knows him--will know him as mild mannered, polite, gentle, easily hurt by insult, and with the great need for a role model.
History: Cyan's history goes back a long ways and starts with a puphood crush on Cerise. When Steele was assigned to Beta rather than Cyan, he believed Cerise actually liked Steele better. Angry, he plotted alongside Teal to overthrow Cerise, where he would have had revenge. He failed, and during the fight with her he confessed his old crush on her. Then he fled. He is seen every so often, generally as another dog's toady, though he seems to be making his own path now.

Personality: Quiet and sweet, she often can’t muster up the courage to say no. She is ditzy at times, but mostly dependable as a friend. She has little confidence in herself, and never seems to state anything with much certainty. She can be slow to understand things due to her deafness, and it takes a patient dog to interact with her.
History: Sonya was born in the wild, out beyond the city somewhere where people raised animals for food. Due to complications, her mother passed away shortly after she was born and her father raised her with the help of his family. When it became known that a family of dogs was living out there where there was farmland that they might choose to invade, the local humans called animal control. Sonya and her family were taken away, and she was separated from her father. She escaped when, on a walk, the clumsy human dropped her leash. Since then, she has been reunited with her father, Swampson, and they now live in Golden pack where she is learning the art of healing.
Breed: Mix; she looks like mostly husky, but less fluffy and more wiry
Other: Sonya was born deaf, and sometimes misses out on parts of a conversation if she isn't looking directly at the dog speaking. Her father is Swampson.
Picture or description: She is reddish-brown overall with a tan belly, throat, and muzzle. Her front legs have ‘socks’ of light brown, but her toes are the same reddish-brown as her torso. Her eyes are pale ice-blue, but somehow hold a warm, kindness in them.

History: Taj was born and raised in the Cerulean pack. When the dogs of that pack died out and disappeared, he went with Faith to Willow pack, where he joined their ranks.
Breed: Mixed; resembles a Doberman, but a bit thinner and more spindly. His tail is not docked and his ears are not cropped.
Picture or description: Black and tan with uneven white blotches on his face, chest, shoulders, and hind legs. All four of his paws are dipped in white. His eyes are dark brown and somewhat intense. His tail curls to brush his back.

Personality: A grumpy, elderly dog, Swampson does not like long conversations or meeting new dogs. He can be snippy, and still maintains a level of curtness even when he is in a good mood. He is always glad to teach young whippersnappers a lesson or two.
History: Born in a swamp in the countryside, he grew up making a living by stealing from nearby farms. He eventually met his mate on a scavenging trip to a barnyard, a beautiful livestock guardian dog that initially was hostile. Soon, she softened to Swampson and left her farm with him to start a family. She passed away in labor, producing just one pup; Sonya. Before long, the family was torn apart by dog catchers, who took Sonya away and kept Swampson as an 'office pet' in the pound. After helping Endigo escape the pound, Swampson followed him and joined Golden pack, reuniting with his daughter.
Other: Swampson is Sonya's father. With so many years of experience, he is quite possibly the best medical dog in the park.
Picture or description: Swampson is a muddy brown color overall, which darkens along his back and is blotted white from age at his muzzle. His paws are seemingly stained with mud and are always caked with dirt. His fur is shaggy and matted from age. His build resembles that of a husky.

Personality: A cold, cruel dog, Delano barely emotes beyond the dark looks he casts around. He is frightening. His silence weighs in the air, intimidating any who become his focus. He is skilled at making dogs disappear. The only thing more terrifying than his dark gaze is his smile, for when he smiles… someone is in trouble… The only one whose word he will obey is Jargo; at Jargo’s word, he takes action immediately. He lives away from the pack, in a den at the edge of the Jargoan territory, not as a personal preference, but for the safety of the other Jargoan dogs...
History: No one knows where he came from. No one knows what he has experienced. There are scars, but he does not speak of them. There are rumors, but he does not acknowledge them. It’s likely for the best that no one pushes him for information.

Name: Faith

Personality: Faith is a very independent girl who does not rely on anyone. She can be a strong leader when necessary, strict with orders, but smart about them as well. She can also be kind and gentle when she needs to be.
History: Faith was born in a male-dominant pack, which didn’t allow the females of the pack to even leave their camp. After growing up in oppression, Faith escaped and fled the land. She joined Cerulean pack, but the dogs of that pack slowly disappeared until it was just her and Taj. Then, the two of them journeyed to Willow pack and joined their ranks.
Other: Taj is her best friend and, whether she admits it or not, she's quite fond of him.

Picture or description: Faith looks very much like a German shepherd with the black saddle and overcoat markings. Unlike a German shepherd, though, she has more of a smoky gray color in her fur rather than the typical beige. Her eyes are lovely and dark, usually appearing black, though they look dark blue in the right lighting.

Personality: Mystery is a charming, fun-loving guy who occasionally likes to show off, especially in front of the ladies. He loves to make others laugh and often tries to cheer up anyone that's looking glum. He has a very good memory and will remember things for a long time, so dogs often find that he knows them better than they realize. He forgives easily and is hard to upset, though he will defend his friends to the best of his abilities.
History: He was born deep in the city, and his mother died for unknown reasons. He was adopted by a family in Chroma pack, and grew up not knowing this. Instead, he believed that this was his family by blood, and that Teal was his brother. As adults, Teal took on a mate, but was violently jealous about her being near Mystery. The she-dog was found dead and Teal was found to be the murderer, but he convinced Mystery that it was an accident and so Mystery left with Teal to protect him.
Mystery lost his memory for a while through a strike to his head inflicted by Teal that was meant to kill him. Having awoken in Golden pack's den, he slowly regained his memory with some help from Dixie. Around this time, Teal managed to convince Mystery that it was Mystery that murdered Teal's mate, and so Mystery left to take punishment for his deeds. But it was revealed by the Chroma pack dogs that it was Teal that was the murderer, and so while Mystery waited for judgement, Dixie went with four young Chroma pack dogs to catch Teal. Mystery was freed and Teal was sentenced to death. But Teal came back, and soon Mystery found himself fighting Teal again for the fate of Chroma pack. Having convinced his brother to be good, or so he thought, he turned his back and was attacked. Teal then fled and was seen by a Chroma pack patrol being hit by a truck and carried off by the humans within it...
Mystery, meanwhile, became mates with Dixie and together they had three daughters, Raven, Minty, and Jade. They have since lived happily in Chroma pack. For now...

Picture or Description: Mystery is a very wolf-like dog, appearing to have a lot of German Shepherd and Husky in him. His fur is pure black, glossy and shiny in the sun, but allowing him to be nearly invisible by night. His eyes are a lovely olivine green, something he is quite proud of.

History: Teal grew up with his adopted brother, Mystery, in Chroma pack, a pack deep in the city away from the park. As a young adult, Teal took on a mate, a she-dog named Orchid. But Teal became suspicious of how much time she spent with Mystery. When Orchid revealed that they would have pups, Teal killed her, thinking the pups were Mystery's. As it turned out, they were his own, something he didn't find out until he was caught and tried for the she-dog's murder. He was sentenced to death, but Steel, the dog that was to be his executioner, didn't kill him and instead partnered up with him to take over Chroma pack. After fighting with his brother, Teal pretended to want to be good so that Mystery would turn his back, and then he attacked. Thinking Mystery was dead, he fled from Chroma pack, only to be hit on a street by a truck. Humans carried his body away and he hasn't been seen by the pack since.
Mystery, however, has met his brother since this happened. In a justified twist of fate, Teal had become paralyzed by being hit by the truck and is now a human's pet and bound to a wheel-cart in order to move. He seems to have changed his ways, but one thing that Teal has always proved is that you never know what he may be planning...

Picture or Description: A lot like a wolf in appearance, Teal has coarse black fur covering his body, except on his shoulder where there is a paler mark like a scar that fur grew over. He is fairly big and muscular, but built sleek and limber. His eyes are a cold, piercing blue.

Personality: A quiet, introverted dog, Grimm is not one for conversation and often speaks in short, curt sentences. He is very patient and caring, though he doesn't look the type. He can be pessimistic about life in general, but he is still hard working when someone needs him. He does not emote much, giving the impression that he is cold and distant, but he has been hardened over the years and doesn't know any different. Those that know him well can tell when he is happy or sad, though, by the look in his eyes or the way he speaks.
History: Grimm was born to humans in a litter of three boys. He was uniquely smart to the humans, which often gained him praise and admiration that his brothers were jealous of. In his adolescence, his brothers tricked him and he ended up locked in a walk-in freezer at a meat locker. When humans found him there, instead of taking sympathy on the nearly frozen to death dog, they beat him and kicked him, and then threw him out.
He was given no breaks. People walked by, ignoring him. No one even tried to help. By some miracle, though, a medical dog came by, and took care of him until he could get along on his own. He respected the dog, and learned from her. He soon was a fairly skilled apprentice, and had become quite close to the medical dog he learned from.
But his hardships were not over. He found the medical dog dead by a road. His heart crushed, he left, putting his medical dog training behind him and becoming a Jargoan pack killer. Still, as years passed, he found it harder and harder to take life, and soon he decided that he could do it no longer. He wanted a new start, a third chance at life, and he knew that the Willow pack was exactly the place for dogs like him.

Other: He is a decent medical dog, but not nearly as skilled as Swampson of Golden pack. He made a vow never to take a dog's life again upon leaving the Jargoan pack, and so he does not do any fighting unless it is to protect the weak or young.
Picture or Description: A mostly black dog with white blotches and speckles, his fur is mid-length, particularly long at the points. His eyes are beautiful and brown, but hold within them a coldness that his past has set into him. He is a medium/large sized dog, somewhat scary looking and with long, graceful legs.

Personality: Cerise is a strong, level-headed Alpha, with a deep attachment to her packmates and a strong sense of justice. She is cunning, often seeing through dogs that try to play her for a fool. She is calm, even in the worst of conditions. She is expressive, but does not let this become a weakness for her. She is generous, but definitely not weak, standing beside her decisions with confidence. She is not easy to anger, keeping patient and not letting herself sway no matter what is said to her. She's the kind of leader that is hard to dislike, and it shows in the respect that she not only receives, but gives.
History: Born into Chroma pack, Cerise grew up a common dog, but she was happy where she was and she made those around her happy. She became close to many, gaining support as she grew. As a young adult, her justness impressed the Alpha and she was promoted to the rank of Beta. When the Alpha passed away, she took over as leader of the pack. She has been a beloved leader since.

Picture or Description: Cerise is a larger she-dog with a base coat of black. Her fur is streaked with gray, which swirls down her front legs and gives sharp definition to her face. Her eyes are deep, reddish-brown, soulful and expressive.

History: Light grew up looking up to Mystery. When he left, Light became determined to find him, and so she rounded up her friends and headed out. After helping Dixie track down and catch Teal, thereby freeing Mystery, she was promoted to Sentry in Chroma pack.

Picture or Description: Light is thin and streamlined, but with muscled legs thick enough to keep her stance sturdy. Her fur is pure black, dark yet shiny in the sun. Personality: Quiet and brooding usually, Mantis has a dark personality and a sarcastic sense of humor. He is very protective of his little brother, and seems outwardly more happy when around him. Though he likes to make it seem like he is cool and tough, he does show a great deal of worry when he or his brother have been put into danger, something he's not happy to admit after the fact.
History: Mantis was the only survivor of the litter he was born in. Raised alone, he became a little spoiled by his parents' attention, something that was soon ruined for him. He was only 5 months old when his parents had another litter of pups, from which only one pup survived, Russet. The stress of the labor was the death of their mother, something that Mantis initially blamed Russet for. But when their father died in a border skirmish not long afterward, Mantis grew closer to his brother from having to practically raise him on his own.

But with company, he is perfectly warm and friendly. He is a great story teller and loves pups, often caught reminiscing about having his own.
History: Sometimes, when you catch him alone, you can see the hurt of his past in his eyes, the deep sorrow of loss and betrayal the likes of which one dog should never have to face alone… But as jolly of a soul as Jiyaken is, he doesn’t like to bring others down with his tale of woe.

When Layla became an adult, she became pregnant with Banner's pups. He died in battle though, and after giving birth to the pups, became Rex's mate. Later, to save the puppies lives, and to also be able to raise the pups the way they wanted to, they ran away and started a new pack. Willowpack. A pack committed to the destruction of Goldenpack, for revenge of Banner's death.

History: No one really knows. She somehow came to Jargoan pack and lived there through the fight between Endigo and Jargo. She betrayed Jargo though, and as a result, Jargo was set after her blood. Then she met Scout. The love of her life. He was a loner, she was a pack dog. Then, she was captured by the dog catcher and taken to the pound. Scout rescued her, and most of the dogs there. In the process, Layla picked up a puppy. She was an orphan, and needed someone to care for her. Layla took on the job without second thought. During one of the many trials of Layla's life, Scout died. She then went to live with her daughter and son-in-law in their pack, where she's been ever since.
