Never done this before, hope it works out. Someone will ask so I'll say yes the top is open except for the 1/2" hardware cloth. Window and nesting boxes are on the South side. I'm North of Fort Worth, Texas, so I'm more concerned with overheating than getting too cold. Suggestions are welcome.
