Raising meat chickens and ducks simultaneously

Doing some forward thinking for next springs chick order.
I'm wanting to raise my first batch of meat birds, and thinking of having both chicken and ducks to have both in the freezer in addition to our fresh beef. Thinking Corning cross and Pekins for now, straight runs. Has anyone raised both at the same time and if they can be processed near the same date?

I've not raised meat ducks, but wanted to caution about raising ducklings and chicks. Ducklings are so messy and you have to work to keep the environment dry. I think CX would be prone to respiratory issues in a damp environment, so housing them separate would be best.
