how to tell a male from female adult Crested ducks

I was given adults crested ducks but it's winter now, so no eggs to let me know if I have females or males?
Is it their sound, colors, etc...

Is the white one a male or female? I'm just asking because I have a white one and we do not know the gender.

Beautiful ducks! I love the looks of crested. Like little affros.

The male on the left has such a big silly looking crest!
