Hello,
I'm Jeremy, decided about 4 weeks ago to start some backyard chicken'n, so I bought 2 Ameraucana, 2 Red Star, and 3 Road Island Red week old chicks. I have their coop about halfway complete, (pic link to follow). I believe the 3 nest boxes will be sufficient for the flock. Currently I'm designing their water supply out of pvc with 3 of the red watering nipples. I'm also making the floors under their roost wire mesh for the dropping collection. Any constructive criticism is welcome. Thanks

Hi Jeremy and welcome to BYC. For the best response, you may wish to post your question on the "Coops and Runs" forum. Unless you are planning on getting a few more chickens in the future, 2 nest boxes would suffice (and they will all probably end up using just one!).

All the best
CT
