In the Brooder
OK my 5 year old son loves to play “chicken restaurant”, which is basically him taking the girls treats in their favorite dust bath area. The girls tolerate him picking them up, even though it appears awkward for them both. He spends a lot of time following them around and even acts like he is a chicken sometimes. Well we recently got a rooster (Gator) and the other day Gator decided he didn’t like my son being around his girls and attacked my son from behind. Silly Gator didn’t know my son was armed with a sword (nerf) and got a taste of his on medicine. Was hilarious watching my son chase Gator around the yard! Needless to say Gator no longer comes within 10 feet of my son, even when he is with the girls. I only wish I got it on video…
