Our peking and indian runner females are laying eggs daily now...how can you tell if they are fertilized to then be incubated or if they are just for some good eating regular eggs? Thanks

Most times you'll want to wait a couple weeks just so the girls can work the kinks out of the egg laying process. Plus sometimes young males need more practice to get it right. Fertile eggs have what is commonly called a bullseye on the yolk. Google it and you should find comparison pictures.

Will the bullseye be visible on the first day of laying?...I have been putting them in the refrigerator right away so they stay fresh for eating. I have one male that is the same age as the 2 females...7 months old...Like you said I don't know if he knows what he is doing yet.

The bullseye should be visible right away if the egg is fertile. When you crack the ones you have collected for eating you can check them.
