a few ideas, the Ohio National poultry competition is in November. There are birds for sale there.

The Poultry Press has a list of judges, start by contacting the ones in your state, they know the good birds

Legg's peafowl uses Cochin to help with the hatching of pea eggs, he might know others if his birds are not the quality you need.

The state of Missouri publishes a poultry yearbook, your state might also.
