Hello I have used this site as a phenomenal resource as a backyard chicken owner\ Serama breeder hoping to try table top exhibiting in the Fall of 2017. Compared to many of you I am a newby but I've owned several breeds of laying hens and this site's blog archive & articles has helped me through everything from my first peeps and a brooder box to treating respiratory diseases, even helped me save/ treat a hen with prolapsed vent. This was the first place I looked when building a new, larger coop and when I had to euthanize a rooster. I just never registered properly or posted. Anyway here I am. Have 6 assorted breed laying hens and an addiction to Serama!!! In my free time I blog and upload video to my website about, what else, my chickens!
