I've been doing this for a few years now and I still can't tell anything about turkey eggs! These are day 10, is my Tom shooting blanks?

Here is an unincubated egg:

You can see the day 10s are a little darker and have a more discernible air sac, just a little. Thanks!!

If they are fertile, you should be able to see movement inside the eggs. Subtle at day 10, but it should be present. Your day 10 egg looks rather clear to me. If they all look the same, go ahead and crack one open. I know you lose an egg,but then at least you will learn what you are candling. If they don't look the same, you may have something.

I don't think I've ever seen movement in the turkey eggs:( as an update the air cells have grown and they've got even darker so I'm just going to wait it out! Oh and I bought some "backup" eggs!

By day 10, you should see spider veining at the very least. I was seeing obvious movement. Those look totally clear to me. I'd crack one open and look for the bullseye.

I'm having the same problem. Clearly, my tom isn't doing his part!

I think it might have more to do with the hen.
Males don't turn down sex easily.
Mostly only when permission is denied.
