Yes! Watch them though, if they don't eat it, remove it so it doesn't rot and cause problems.

Thank you! Sorry for the delay...unfortunately, just when I had got a huge thriving mealie ranch (after a year!), pantry and/or dust moths infiltrated and caused some kind of disease. The mealies turned black and soft, then hard. Am restarting another ranch in another place, but I think the nasties have infiltrated again. Silver lining: the larvae of the moths are just great for my betta fish. Yummy live food!
