I have discovered mites all over my coop, and my hens. This is my first experience with mites so I have taken advice from everywhere on what to do. I have used a product called Dectomax it's what we use on our cattle. I put five drops on the back of each of them, also thoroughly cleaned out the coop including nesting boxes. Then dragged the hose in there and sprayed everywhere. Bought sevin dust powder, sevin liquid and DE. My question is does anyone know how long to wait before eggs can be eaten again? Thanks in advance for any input on this creepy crawly situation.
