[Chicky Crazy]

Autumn:
Rain pored into the cage that Autumn huddled in as she tried to keep her balance. Someone was caring her through the the rain, and stacked her in a vehicle above starter hens like her. She was scared. Everything had been changing around her so quickly. Only a day ago the gentle farmer who had raised her shook hands with a man whose face looked disagreeable. He had packed her in a box and now was taking her to somewhere new. She was leaving her friends behind. And knew deep down that just like she was the dominant hen of her friends, she too would have to protect her new friends. The car swerved at the sound of thunder and Autumn struggled to her feet.
"Hello?"
She chirped softly.
