Melody and Song stalked through the forest, they had heard rumors of vicious wildcats who'd shred the fur right off of ones skin and eat their enemies eyes, they didn't believe the rumors and had decided to go look in the forest, to prove the other cats wrong. They had been walking for a while, wondering aimlessly, Song noticed a river snaking its way through the trees and pointed out that they needed to rest, so they walked to the river and lapped at the watter when they heard. "Kittypets!" Something slammed into Melody, knocking her into the river, she had swam before, being a barn cat, so she reared up out of the shallow river and flailed at her attacker, Song copied her sister and soon the attackers fell back, a ginger tom and a grey she-cat stared at them. The male dipped his head. "Sorry about that, Rowanpaw here is eager to attack." The she cat, Rowanpaw, stared at them. "They smell like kittypets!" She hissed. Melody looked confused. "What are kittypets?" "You!" Rowanpaw hissed, the tom shook his head. "Head back to your twoleg den, if you're found by another clans patrol you might not be so lucky. C'mon, Rowanpaw." Rowanpaw padded after the tom. shooting glances at Melody and Song over her shoulder. When they were out of earshot she asked. "Do you think they're part of the uprising?" Her mentor shook his head. "They're just kittypets who strayed too far across the border, don't worry about them."
