The humans have nearly gone extinct from the disease that has been running repent since the flood. They had lost all their technology and are trying to rebuild. They live as Indians and set traps to survive off of whatever they catch. We have been hiding for so long. The humans would kill us at the sight of us. But we are all trying our best to say alive. "Hey, look over here." RiverLeaf had stopped and stared at something. His older brother, RainDrop, followed behind. "Leave it alone..." He gasped at the sight. A trap with a rope stuck around a dead Moose's neck. "They're here..." RainDrop looked around nervously. An arrow shot past them both. "RUN!!!" The two separated and ran in different directions. RiverLeaf was hit he fell to the ground, dead. RainDrop had escaped, unharmed. But his brother, was to be eaten by the humans...

Male Ranks:

Dominant Buck: Is the leader of the herd. Is the strongest and largest buck of the herd usually has the largest antlers/horns.
Is the only one able to mate, but some males get their chance when the female is out of sight of the dominant.

Middle bucks:
These males are older then the yearlings but are younger than the dominant buck. These bucks usually challenge each other in brawls, which are play fights. They are the bucks that help protect the rest of the herd.

Yearling males:
These are male fawns that have reached their first year of life. Once a fawn reaches this stage they are taught by their fathers how to fight, tricks of fighting, ranks and dominance, and some extra techniques in finding the best food. The young bucks aren't seen within the herd till their 2nd year where they become middle bucks. For the whole time they are separated from the herd and are taught off to the outskirts of the region, usually.

Fawns/calves:(both for male and female ranks)
Fawns/calves are young of either gender younger than a year. They are taught by their mothers till their first year. During this stage their mother teaches them how to find food, how to hide and outrun danger, they learn the rule to stay near their mother, and are taught to watch for danger at all times.

Female Ranks:

Middle Doe's: (just regular herd doe's)
These are the does that are older than a year and are able to reproduce(breed). They usually stick near the dominant buck for protection, but some stray off. Few of them fight and are usually friendly towards each other.

Yearling Doe's:
Doe's that are a year old. They are taught by their mothers till they reach middle doe status.(Unlike the Yearling males who are taught by their father at this time.)

Fawns/calves:(Are young of either gender younger than a year.)
They are taught by their mothers till their first year. (Accept for the doe's who are taught by their mothers till Yearling status) During this stage their mother teaches them how to find food, how to hide and outrun danger, they learn the rule to stay near their mother, and are taught to watch for danger at all times.

Extra Rank:

Loner
Animals that live off isolated from the herds. They usually start their own families, then when the fawns grow up they all seperate, solitary once again.

Challenge:
When two bucks mock each other. One gets agitated then rams the other with his antlers. Then they lock antlers and push and kick at each other till one gets killed or gives up. Challenges usually take place during the fall season when two males want the same female. Any other time it's usually because a smaller buck wants to become the dominant buck.

Brawls:
Brawls are like challenges but these fights are for fun. Usually bucks begin brawling at their first year when their learning to challenge each other. Brawls always end when one gives up, or when the two get to tired.
