chicks ouside in cold temp.

I have 6, 7 week old chicks. They have been without a heat lamp for 3 weeks and out in the coop for almost 2 weeks. Tonight the temp is supposed to get down to 31, my question is should I run a heat lamp out to them or should they be ok?

If they can avoid wind or drafts and have something a ittle insulating like a pile of hay to snuggle into, I wouldn't worry about it.

This cold snap has hit us too here in OH. It was 33F last night. Our chicks are the same age and did just fine in the coop last night.
