I thought it would be fun to have a silkie gender guessing game.
Cast your vote now and in 6 to 12 (or maybe 20

) months I'll let you know if you were right!

My silkie chicks are 10 days old. They were hatched by my EE hen.
So, guesses on sex and color.

I hope they are not all boys!
Everyday I tell them they are pretty GIRLS.
Hopefully this will have some magical power on them and they will all be girls. OR the roosters will be very girly and never crow.

Do boy silkies grow faster/are bigger than girl silkies?
If so, then Pepper and Ginger will be boys.

Pixie is tiny - 1/2 the size of the other girls.

Your babies are darling, and they look different than my new hatchlings. Mine have more chipmunk patterns, and marks on their heads and faces. I can't figure out most of mine, but I sure want to know what yours are!

All I can guess is that Pixie's white and Pepper's black! Keep posting pictures, so I can watch my baby's cousins grow up. They're really darling!
