Standard size rooster and bantam hens?

Hi everyone,

I have a small flock of 9 standard hens and 4 bantams. I am looking/hatching for a good rooster for my flock and i was wandering if a standard size rooster would be nice to my bantams or do i have to separate the girls from him?

Thanks for any advice.
 
I have the reverse, two Mille Fleur D'Uccles roo's and three Barred Rock Hens (plus my little bantie hens). The roos have no problems with the big hens although sometimes the hens take great objection to the roos affections.

I have a standard roo with my bantams and as we speak are hatching. There has been no problems that I have seen. Although the only eggs that have hatched are the bantam eggs. I also have 3 standard size hens but none of they're eggs have hatched. Maybe my roo prefers his ladies smaller?
