Roo coturnix "growl" sound- may be a way to sex the other colors

BUT only on roos that are alread crowing and breeding... as I can notice so far hens dont make this noise... only the roos do. Say you have a large flock of A & Ms and want to sex them but dunno how and dont want to do the foam thing.... pick them up and wait if they start making this sound (ignore the pigeon cooing lol) its safe to say it's a roo

Enceno is friendly (he crows at me when i put my hands in there to move stuff around or collect eggs) but he sure doesnt like being handled lol!
