Just a quick update: We're moving along on this and should have it done soon! Sorry for the delay, we've been super busy getting ready for the release of the new official book of BYC.

Dang, this gets harder and harder every time!!! So, to everyone who entered, a HUGE
We've got two submissions tied for first place, both of whom will receive $20 BYC Store Gift Certificates:

Thank you so much!!! The inspiration and information gained from BYC has turned me into a Chicken Keeping Crusader and we are getting so much joy from our flock. DH will be so happy and maybe now he will build me another

Congratulations SpunkyTheMonkey, goody2230, alamogirl, and ecocheapomom! Those are all fabulous coops!
They each had great BYC pages with detailed designs! I know lots of folks will now be using them and many of the other entries as inspiration and reference.

I love that BYC has these contests - it motivates people (like me) to actually document and publish their coop building adventures. Adding to the BYC coop pages just makes BYC an even better resource for would-be chicken owners. It's a win-win!
