So a friend and I went in together on one of McMurray's bantam grab bags. We ordered 75, and they arrived today. I brought home I think 38 with me.

I haven't had time to get pics yet, but I will soon.

So far, it looks like mostly cochin bantams! (which are my heart!) I am sure there's buff, red, maybe birchen, white cochin, and black/blue cochins. Maybe a partridge cochin, too. I'll have to look more closely to determine that.

I have what looks to be one White Laced Red Cornish bantam, 3 Blue Silkies, 1 BB Red OEG, and 1 Silver Duckwing OEG.

There's also two EE bantams, and one little dirty white chick that is clean legged, but I can't for the life of me determine what it is!

AAAAHHHH! How dare you brag about so many fluffy little bundles of cute and not post pictures!?!? I can't stand the torture!

This chick has a single comb, and has a reddish buff color to it...I'm thinking maybe Red Pyle????

This chick also has a single comb, kind of a dirty white in color, almost silver, and seems to be short legged. I'm thinking maybe a Japanese, but not sure?

How very very adorable those little chikkies are !!! And congrats to you for knowing what they are !!! LOL I'd have to wait til they grew up !
I had ordered from Ideal...due about 9/11...ordered some standards and 8 little Bantam babies. Hope I get a silky !

dose mcmh ship to canada or no????? i have heard they do but also most say they don't i really wanted to order from them to try their chicks i have 47 chicks coming from a canadian hatchery on sept 9th but i heard that mcmh is really good birds.

I love cochins of both standard and bantam sizes!!

And as to knowing what they are, I cannot tell you how many pictures of chicks I study when I have those hatchery catalogs in my hands!
