drop off at the back of the coop run. I'm worried it's too tight of a space. I think a chicken could get hurt/stuck down there.

1-13-12 most of transition area between coop and run done. used suntuf for the roof. I have the side roofs from the coop and run draining onto the "transition" roof that slopes down.

frame of the coop run. used cycle fence poles and cattle fencing. this is on a fairly steep slope. I terraced the floor with cinder blocks. you can see a small apple tree and a plum tree.

Start of the coop run. I cemented the two poles in the ground.

The front door is done. made out of fence slats. There is hardware cloth on the back of it. I put mettal plates on the inside door jam to make sure there is no space large enough for a rat or mouse to get through (hopefully).

Sides and roof completed. You can see the pop door. The roof is fence slates the insulation on top of that and aluminum roofing on that. The litle side roop cover the ventilation opening on the sides.

coop foundation. situated between 2 large holly bushes in the side yard about 10 feet from the house. It will have total shade, Its on the south side of the house but shaded. I'm up on a hill, so there is usually a breeze in the summer. The coop will be inside a new composite stockade fence
