This view shows the clean out doors. I made frames for the doors out of wood I salvaged from an old box spring. I nailed slats from pallets on the outside with tar paper underneath. Then I turned it over and put half inch foam insulation inside the frame then 1/8 inch plywood from crates I got from work . Top left is my finger.

This view shows the window and chicken door. To the left was the Girls temporary housing (large dog kennel setting on a pallet) and to the right was the temporary roof and walls (large tarp bungee corded to the pallet). You can just make out the Girls through the window. Today was the move in day with the help of Grandson and Granddaughter who spread the bedding on floor and shredded paper in the nesting boxes.

This view shows the double door opening for clean out. The roof is metal i had leftover from building my garage. the plywood inside and three of the outside walls they were going to throw away at work.

I got the roof on the window frame and trim on top of the nesting boxes. The window frame and trim is all pallet lumber.

I have the plywood on, tar paper and rafters.
