Chicken coop under construction - 2012.
When Rob's father finished building his house, he had some of these insulated forms left over. Very dense foam! We took these apart and used the foam to insulate our coop. We were amazed that it helped to keep the coop cool in the summer, and it definitely helped this winter when temperatures dropped to -28°C / -18°F

First winter with the chicken coop. 2012-2013
Coop Construction: The ramp. Put all that work into the ramp and the hens don't use it. We just prop the door open and they jump in instead. Looks red because the wood on the inside of the coop is mahogany.
