We added a new roof to both the existing coop and the addition. The materials were only $30 at HD. It was my first time roofing but I think it came out pretty good. It also makes it look like the addition was part of the initial design.

We currently have 3 chickens and just adopted 6 more. The existing coop wasn't going to be large enough. We removed a wall and built on the coop. Now we have almost double the sq ft.
